This dependence, however, also leaves us vulnerable to illegal practices at the hands of unethical employers. Every day in communities throughout California, workers are exploited, harassed, and discriminated against. They are made to labor in unsafe conditions, denied their earned wages, and face retaliation if they dare to speak up for their rights. While employment law has come a long way from where it once was, much remains to be done to ensure a safe, healthy, and respectful workplace for all.

No two clients are the same. For this reason, I approach each case with an open mind, and treat clients with respect, compassion, and a genuine desire to secure the best possible outcome for them. I take a limited number of cases to make sure that each client is given the time and attention they deserve. The attorney-client relationship is like being on a team, with both sides contributing knowledge, experience, and strength. I keep clients informed and up to date on their cases, and believe the best results can only be achieved when an attorney and client collaborate regularly.

Employment law is an evolving field of practice. For this reason, I regularly watch for updates and developments in the law. Among other things, I am an active member in the California Employment Lawyers Association. I also consistently participate in Continuing Legal Education, and I frequently conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including substantive law and procedure.
